Who you follow, how many follow you, numbers, hearts, likes, claps, are not indicators to me about who you are as a human.
How do conduct yourself interbeing when you step into a space is.
Do you automatically expect respect because of imaginary numbers, or labels?
Do you offer compassion to others who are different from you?
Do you judge others with the same unfaced judgments you punish yourself with?
Do you speak unmindfully and unkindly of others, in shared spaces? Or only when they are not present?
Do you create inclusion, and have a welcoming heart? Or do your biases, insecurities, and need to be “better than” create ego walls?
Being a secure human being takes mad self trust. Being a secure human being who still trusts after being burned by trauma, is a person I’m proud to know.
We all have insecurities. It's natural in the world we live in! But please acknowledge them, so we can all move towards security. So I don’t keep having to put up boundaries to protect my peace from humans’ suffering.
So we can connect instead of compete.
