When you get to the point of allowing your trust to also include you, this is self compassion at it’s finest.

This is it. This is exactly where we need to come to, the place where we are finally trusting ourselves.

Trusting yourself enough to be your safe space.

Trusting that you can let people down, in order to have peace in yourself.

Trusting that you can face whatever comes into, or out of your life.

Trusting that you are enough.

Trusting that the love you have for yourself is what will carry you and any other love is like the cherry on top.

Trusting that the choices you make are the right ones for your being!

But many of us are conditioned by our parents, by our friends, by our circles that we cannot be trusted with our own thoughts, choices, decisions, feelings and must consult with them before living. That’s co-dependency.

When someone else plants the seed of doubt in your self and your abilities and it grows within you, they get to be the gardener who prunes you.

They have a regular, reoccuring gig in your life. They get to grow you into the plant that they envision you being.

Even if you needed to grow as something else.

We have to have faith in ourselves and our own visions and learn to let the seeds of other people’s doubts, criticism, societal expectations that were planted around us, wither away.

The only way we can do this is if we have enough trust in ourselves to know which seeds will help us flourish and which seeds will grow into life strangulating invasive plants.
