When I’m able to suspend my belief grooves and jump out aside. For the sake of curiosity, open-hearted and rooted in what aspects of life are living within my moments: compassion, kindness, love, and understanding– here is where I learn something new.
Listening to others' stories, reading first-hand experiences of someone’s life, with conscious non-judgment and checks of my biases I still may hold — here is where I learn something new.
Thinking deeply about the meaning of words, sharing our meaning together in the goal of understanding your feelings and why ideas, thoughts, concepts and how the words have weight to you – here is where I learn something new.
Moving in energy, and creating space to heart hear another. And in not just hearing my own self speak, in vibrations through the air, or in thought symbols of language — here is where I learn something new.
Knowing the why of my belief systems, the where they may have come from, and if these ideas I hold are in harmony with my heart and not harmful to another’s. Understanding, not only do I have the right to change my ideas, but that my ideas may also be wrong — here is where I learn something new.
I’d like my mind to be a tidepool of a Universe. To sit and observe at times when the water level is high and together full ocean. And then, when the tides of life go out too, to also enjoy all the aspects of warmth in the low tide pool of existence.
Experiences the happenings — people and feelings come out, and come in of this glorious ocean.
