To Aiart, or Not To Aiart? From an Artist’s Perspective
2023 the year of art and the artist
I am an artist, through and through. Visual art is my long happy. I got crayons as a baby and as you can see here, the joy began. My friends would definitely describe me as a creative. It’s like breathing for me, a need. Writing and making art is a lifelong need for my soul.
People seem to like my art, it makes them happy, so it’s a joy loop. Their happy brings me to my happy. Even though I do say my joy is my responsibility like my pain, like my inner peace — seeing others in joy because of my art, that hits differently, like the icing on a homemade cake from a box.
When I lived in the Netherlands, I started to digitally mix photos and hand drawn art on a program on my iPad — 10 years in the making and I had the gift of an iPad. Another medium to create art.
Much of my digital work in the program called Procreate starts as a hand drawn sketch I take a photo of, and then import into the program. These are a couple of these digital paintings.
